If you make a search of the register through Trust Online, we will ask you for
some personal data for identification and audit purposes and will store your
email address. If you make a search of the register by post we will ask you for
some personal data for so that we can action your request and return the search
result and we will store your details for identification and audit purposes.
Where you use a credit or debit card for payment online, each time we will use a
trusted third party to collect and process this data. Where you are a business
user we will ask you to identify your account and password.
Why do we collect and store your information?
We only request information from website users that is necessary to enable us to
provide you with the service you have purchased. We do not pass any personal
information acquired from your search onto anyone else unless legally obliged to

Online and is also passed to other parties periodically for use with regards to
credit activities and these include – credit reference agencies, companies
offering financial services, companies offering financial advice and their

We will contact customers using the contact details provided where we are
required to do so in respect of the service you have purchased or in response to
an enquiry you have made. We may contact you to monitor and improve the services
we offer.

through any web access and internally any use by our staff. Our staff are aware

Details of your credit or debit cards are not held by or are not available to
Registry Trust Limited. We use a secure and approved third party provider to

encryption software and firewalls. We only have access to lists of transactions
for audit and any questions we may receive from you in respect of payment.
